St Lucia has many excellent scuba diving spots. Trou Diable is also available. Anse Chastanet, Trou Diable and Anse Cochon North & South all make excellent scuba diving locations. Due to the strong currents, the plateau is an excellent spot for drift diving. You will find large shoals of fish as well as sting rays, nurse sharks, and turtles in this area.

Anse Chastanet

Anse Chastanet in St Lucia is known for its unusual marine life and popularity as a scuba diving spot. It is home to more than 150 species of fish and stretches to 20 to 140 feet deep. It's also a popular place for underwater photographers.

The resort of Anse Chastanet is situated in a beautiful setting close to the Pitons. It's also near the best reefs on the island. The resort was established in 1968. There are now 48 rooms, with breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding areas. It's situated between two ridges and a steep hillside, giving it a spectacular location.

Anse Chastanet is the ideal place to enjoy scuba diving on St Lucia. Guests have the option to take advantage the resort's custom-built trails or take yoga classes. They can also sail the resort’s sailing yacht at sunset. They can also have a treatment at Kai Belte Spa and relax on one the many beach hammocks. There are also complimentary guided hikes and walks throughout the six-acre estate.


Trou Diable

When planning a scuba diving trip to St Lucia, one of the best places to visit is the beautiful Trou Diable. This dive site is 40 feet deep and features an amazing coral reef. Divers may circle the reef at 100 feet and observe a variety of turtles and tropical fish.

There are plenty of options for divers in Saint Lucia, whether you're a seasoned diver or just starting out. The east coast is home to excellent coral reefs. Additionally, the north and southern ends offer protection from easterly winds and dangerous wave conditions. There are many experienced divers in Saint Lucia. Many of these dive operators can be found close to major resorts. This makes it a good place to start a course or get a certification.

Anse Cochon North & South

Divers can explore the Anse Cochon North & South Reef. This pair of dive spots is located between the islands. Both sites can be reached from the beach, and they range in depth between 10-40 feet. They are great dive sites for beginners and easy-level divers. The northern reef is home for more coral, but there are plenty of reef fish at both ends. As well as the octopus you can see sea whips, trumpetfishes and sea whips.

The Lesleen M, an old cargo ship that was built in Anse Cochon's south end, is now an artificial reef. It was sunk by the Fisheries Department of Saint Lucia in 1986. The seagrass bed that surrounds the wreck attracts many fish species. Barracudas and stingrays might be found on the wreck. It was intentionally sunk as a dive spot.
